Moose hunting in Maine is by permit only. If you are lucky enough to be drawn, why take a chance on not getting a moose? By booking a fully guided moose hunt with Maine Woodsmen Guide Service you have a 99% chance of getting a moose. I will only book one hunter per guide per week. Price includes lodging (meals included), transportation to the hunting areas along with your own personal guide who will stay with you until you shoot the moose of your choice. We will field dress and transport your moose to a local butcher. Butchering prices are around .50 to .60 cents per pound, cut, wrapped, and frozen. We can also recommend a taxidermist in the area.
